Baby Food: Spiced Carrots

Baby Food Recipes


  • 5 large organic whole carrots
  • ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon*
  • ¼ teaspoon of cardamom*
  • Water and/or breast or formula milk

 

  1.    Wash and peel the carrots (unless they are organic, then only wash). 
  2. Cut into evenly sized chunks or fingers.
  3.  Lay out evenly on a baking tray and bake at 350° until tender.  (You can steam carrots, but baking brings out more flavour).
  4. Blend or puree and add a little breast/formula milk or water to reach a smooth consistency.
  5. Add in cinnamon and cardamom and pulse the carrots until the ingredients are blended.
  6. Pour into the Tutti Bimbi Baby Food Freezer Tray and store.
